HERMINE MARDIROSSIAN
C’est avec une immense tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de notre chère sœur et tante, Hermine Mardirossian, qui s’est éteinte paisiblement à l’âge de 90 ans. Âme bienveillante et aimante, Hermine laisse dans le deuil, son frère Manuel Mardirossian, et ses sœurs Elizabeth Zaroukian (Toros) et Zevart Tanielian (feu Girair), ainsi que ses nièces, neveux, leurs conjoints et leurs enfants. Malgré les souffrances physiques qu’elle a endurées tout au long de sa vie, son esprit inébranlable, sa force et sa grâce sont restées une source d’inspiration pour tous ceux qui la connaissait. Nous souhaitons exprimer nos sincères remerciements au personnel du Sunrise Senior Living situé à Beaconsfield, Québec, ainsi qu’au personnel de Customized Homecare pour leur compassion ainsi que pour les soins qu’ils lui ont prodigués durant ses dernières années. Leur compréhension, soutien et dévouement ont été d’un immense réconfort pour Hermine ainsi que pour notre famille. Nous voulons également remercier le personnel de l’Hôpital Lakeshore pour avoir veillé à ce que ses derniers jours soient paisibles et en toute dignité. Une cérémonie funéraire aura lieu le vendredi 14 février 2025 à 11h à l’Église arménienne Sourp Hagop, 3401 Rue Olivar-Asselin, Montréal, suivie de l'inhumation au cimetière St-Laurent. En guise de témoignage de sympathie au lieu de fleurs, un don en sa mémoire à l’Église arménienne Sourp Hagop serait apprécié.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt, Hermine Mardirossian, who passed away peacefully at the age of 90. A caring and loving soul, Hermine touched the lives of all who knew her with immense kindness and sincere generosity. She was a woman of indomitable strength, determination, and heartfelt compassion, always putting the needs of others before her own. Born on May 16, 1934, in Beirut, Lebanon, Hermine immigrated to Montreal, Quebec, in 1960, where she built a life rooted in hard work and dedication. Hermine had a deep love for music and was a talented pianist. Her skillful playing brought joy to those around her. Hermine, the second eldest of her 3 siblings, is lovingly remembered by her brother, Manuel Mardirossian, her sisters Elizabeth Zaroukian (Toros) and Zevart Tanielian (the late Girair), her nieces, nephews, their spouses and children. Though she endured much physical pain over her lifetime, her unwavering spirit, strength and grace remained an inspiration to all who loved her. Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Sunrise Senior Living in Beaconsfield, Quebec, and Customized Home Care for their compassionate care during her final years. Their understanding, support, and dedication provided immense comfort to Hermine and our family. We also extend our sincerest thanks to the staff of Lakeshore Hospital for ensuring her final days were peaceful and dignified. Hermine’s memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace. A funeral service will be held on February 14, 2025 at 11:00 am at Sourp Hagop Armenian Church, 3401 Rue Olivar-Asselin, Montreal. Burial to follow at St. Laurent Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, your expression of sympathy can take the form of a donation in her memory to Sourp Hagop Armenian Church.
