C'est avec une profonde tristesse que la famille annonce le décès de MARIA SCHEMBARI FURNERI à l'âge de 83 ans, épouse bien-aimée de Giuseppe Furneri depuis 64 ans. Née à Santa Croce Camerina, Ragusa, Sicile, Italie. Décédée à Montréal, Québec, Canada. Elle manquera énormément à ses enfants aimants Teresa, Tina (Luciano) et Joe (Liana), ses petits-enfants Riccardo, Stefania, Lucas, Daniel et Mara Lia. Maria était profondément aimée par sa famille et connue pour sa gentillesse, sa générosité, son sens de l'humour et sa gaieté. Elle a vécu chaque jour pleinement avec joie. Son bel esprit continuera de vivre dans nos coeurs. La famille vous accueillera au Complexe funéraire Magnus Poirier situé au 10300, boul. Pie-IX à Montréal, H1H 3Z1, le dimanche 11 août 2024 de 16h à 21h. Les funérailles seront célébrées le lundi 12 août 2024, à 10h en l'église Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel 7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Léonard et de là au Le Repos St-François d'Assise 6893 Sherbrooke Street Est, Montreal dans le mausolée Saint Antoine.
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of Maria Schembari Furneri at the age of 83, beloved wife of Giuseppe Furneri for 64 years. Born in Santa Croce Camerina, Ragusa, Sicily, Italy. Deceased in Montreal, Québec, Canada. She will be immensely missed by her loving children Teresa, Tina (Luciano) and Joe (Liana), her cherished grandchildren Riccardo, Stefania, Lucas, Daniel and Mara Lia. Maria was deeply loved by her family and known for her kindness, generosity, sense of humour and playfulness. She lived every day to the fullest with joy. Her beautiful spirit will live on amongst all those whose lives she touched. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. Montreal, on Sunday, August 11th, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. A mass will be held on Monday, August 12th, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church 7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Léonard, thence to Le Repos Saint Francois D'Assise cemetery 6893 Sherbrooke Street Est, Montreal in the Saint Antoine Mausoleum.

Mancherà enormemente ai suoi figli affettuosi Teresa, Tina (Luciano) e Joe (Liana), i nipoti Riccardo, Stefania, Lucas, Daniel e Mara Lia. Maria era profondamente amata dalla sua famiglia ed era ben voluta per la sua gentilezza, generosità, senso dell'umorismo e giocosità. Ha vissuto ogni giorno al massimo con gioia. Il suo bellissimo spirito continuerà a vivere nei nostri cuori. La salma sarà esposta presso il complesso funebre Magnus Poirier 10300, boul. Pie-IX à Montréal, domenica, 11 agosto 2024 dalle ore 16:00 alle 21:00. La messa sarà celebrata lunedi 12 agosto, 2024 alle ore 10:00 presso la chiesa Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel 7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Léonard, e di la al cimitero Le Repos St. François d'Assise 6893 Sherbrooke Street Est, Montreal nel Mausoleo di Sant'Antonio.
