DEMETRIO PIVETTA

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of DEMETRIO PIVETTA on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the age of 89.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Anna Migotto Pivetta, his loving children Stefania (Mike Lo Russo), Roberto (Elizabeth Puterman) and Lisa (J.P. Anzovino), his cherished grandchildren Rebecca, Jared and David, his brother Angelo and his sister Rita (Duncan Lee) as well as nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

Demetrio was a kind, funny, charitable and hard working man. He traveled the world, enjoyed a good game of golf or cards and even bowled a perfect game. His family was his proudest accomplishment. As a man with strong faith, he firmly believed this was not goodbye but rather until we meet again.

Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 boul. Pie-IX on Monday October 07, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 08, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish located on 11775 Rue Filion, Montreal QC H4J 1T4, then to the Laval Cemetery, 5505 Rang-du-Bas Saint-François.
