With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Francesco Lombardi at the age of 99 on September 29, 2024, in Laval, Quebec. Born in Muro Lucano, Italy, Francesco was the beloved husband of the late Maria Felicia Tummillo and a devoted father to Antonio and Geraldine.

He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Katherine (Jason), Sarah, Philip, Andrea (Jaydon), Alexandre (late Cynthia), and Michael (Rita). Francesco also leaves behind his cherished great-grandchildren: Jasmine, Adriana, and Shea.

Francesco’s journey from Muro Lucano to Canada in 1955 embodied the spirit of adventure, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to family. His life was a testament to hard work, generosity, and dedication. Those who knew him will always remember his kindness, sharp sense of humor, and the joy he brought into their lives.

Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 222 Boul. Deslaurentides in Laval on Thursday, October 10th, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Friday morning as of 9:00 a.m.

A ceremony will be held on Friday, October 11th, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. within the salon of the parlor thence to The Cemetery of Laval.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
