It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Novak, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  Linda departed this world on January 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Linda lived life to the fullest, sharing countless adventures with her devoted husband, Jack. Together, they explored the open roads on their beloved motorcycle trips, finding joy in the freedom of the ride and the beauty of life’s journey.

Her greatest pride and joy was her family. She was a loving mother to Jennifer, whose bond with her was unbreakable, and the cherished Mammy of Bryce and Blake, who brought endless light into her life and filled her days with immeasurable pride and happiness.

Linda’s love extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a caring sister to Michael, a beloved sister-in-law to Ann, a cherished aunt to Vanessa (Sam), Ann-Charlotte, Samuel and Lily-Rose and a best friend to her cousin Susan.

Linda’s boundless energy, kind heart, and adventurous spirit left a lasting mark on all who knew her. Her love for life was matched only by her love for those around her, and she will be remembered for her generosity and warmth.

Though she may no longer ride the open roads, Linda’s spirit will forever soar in the hearts of those who loved her.

A celebration of life for family will be planned at a later date.

Michael, Jennifer, Jack and family My deepest condolences to all. It has been a long time since I last saw my cousin Linda but I have so many wonderful memories of her in Val Morin. Likely because I was so much younger, she always watched out for and included me. I was in awe of her. I will always be thankful for her staying in touch with my mother, Pauline, through the years. I know my mother cherished every minute on the phone with her. May she rest in peace.

I met Linda in 1998 after she moved to Burlington. Tudor and I rode to a party at their home. Linda&Jack and Tudor had met through the HOG group in the early 90's. Linda was warm and interesting, she asked many questions and often gave advice. We visited them in Quebec and enjoyed Linda and Jack's long awaited wedding at the cottage. Having met many family members, we continued to visit in Florida at her parents place, then their own after they retired. When they moved to Ormond their gang of friends grew and we had a weekly ride on Sundays, tacos on Tuesdays and Christmas holidays to enjoy together. In April it was time to pack up and Linda and Jack had their final party of the season. Also we enjoyed their company - family visits by Jennifer, Vanessa and family and Susan. We all felt the grief when Linda was diagnosed with cancer. Her battle started and she showed everyone how to fight. She stayed strong and persevered and outlived expectations. This new infection caught me by surprise. Tudor and I are grateful for our friendship over the years and our happy times together. We lost an angel. ❤️❤️❤️

I met Jack and Linda when I started coming to Florida for the winters. Linda was an amazing woman always laughing and in most cases steering the group. Linda and Jack led most of the rides, hosted lots of patties at thier house and were always around. Linda was a wonderful person and we were honored to have her in our lives. Thank for the fun times we had together.
