VINCENZO CRISTIANO

Vincenzo Cristiano, age 82, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 25, 2025. He was born on August 8, 1942, in Staiti, Calabria, Italy.

Vincenzo was kind-hearted, humble and gentle, cherished for his heart of gold, warm smile, and genuine love of helping others. He valued hard work, honesty, and the importance of one’s word. To his wife, he was devoted, loving, and caring. He enjoyed bowling, proudly achieving a perfect game in 2018. He also loved listening to music, dancing, and teaching his loved ones various dances, including the pasodoble, merengue, and cha-cha. He found joy in tending to his vegetable garden, barbecuing, and walking his beloved Coco. Vincenzo always treasured time spent with family, sharing laughter in the company of those he loved.

Vincenzo’s faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his kindness, generosity, and the love he shared with others.

Vincenzo is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Maria Teresa, his son Francesco, and Milene, who was like a daughter to him. He is also survived by numerous loved ones, including the families of his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and their children.

A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in Vincenzo’s memory. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the CHSLD Joseph-François-Perrault for the compassionate care and support they provided.
